  1. How do I qualify for priority points?

    Eligible entities must partner with a Community College, a Local Workforce Innovation Area, and employers to pilot the clean energy pathway programs. Of these eligible entities, priority points will be given to programs with an EV focus, programs in rural areas, and programs incorporating partnerships with current Rev Up EV Community College grantees.​​
  2. How do I submit my completed application?

    Applications for this opportunity must be submitted by 5:00PM CST on Tuesday, November 12th, 2024. Application materials must be submitted to the Department via electronic form at: https://app.smartsheet.com/b/form/3076e8efcfe74a8ab5b550e830570bca​​

  4. What is needed to qualify as a completed application?

    A standard application package must be submitted to and reviewed by DCEO. Each package must contain the following items:
    ☐ Uniform Grant Application in fillable PDF format. Signature page must be printed, signed, scanned and submitted with application.
    ☐ Uniform Budget utilizing the template provided by DCEO for this project. The entire budget with all worksheets included even if the worksheets are not relevant to the grant opportunity must be submitted with the application materials. Signature page must be printed, signed, scanned and submitted with application.

  5. When is the deadline to apply?

    The deadline to apply for the Clean Energy Career Pathway NOFO is November 12, 2024​.
  6. Will entities partnering with Round 2 grantees of the Illinois Community College Board’s FY2024 Rev Up EV Community College Initiative also be awarded priority points?

    Yes! Round 2 grantees will be honored. ​​​They are the following:
    • Illinois Central College 
    • Illinois Valley College
    • Waubonsee Community College
    • Shawnee Community College,
    • John Wood Community College​
